Before Your Appointment

To help ensure the most accurate results, please:

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Review the patient information provided by your clinic
  • Inform your clinician about any medications you are taking
Your clinic will provide full preparation instructions before your appointment.

What to expect during your appointment?

Your appointment typically lasts around one hour, with the recording itself taking approximately 30 minutes.

Step 1

You’ll complete a short health questionnaire and discuss any medications you’re currently taking.

Step 2

Small adhesive sensors are placed on your abdomen, together with a comfortable respiratory belt worn over your clothing.

Step 3

A short baseline recording is taken while you relax.

You’ll drink a glass of water, which forms part of the test protocol.

Step 4

The sensors continue recording your abdominal activity while you remain comfortably seated or reclining.
Once the recording is complete, the sensors are removed and you can immediately return to your normal daily activities.

Understanding your results

Once your test is complete, the recorded data is analysed and reviewed by your healthcare professional.
Your results are considered alongside your symptoms, medical history, clinical examination, any ultrasound or MRI findings.

Together, this information helps your clinician determine the most appropriate next steps in your care.

Depending on your clinic, results may be available the same day or within a few working days.

What happens next?

The EndoSure Test is designed to support clinical decision-making, it does not replace your clinician’s assessment.

Depending on your results, your healthcare professional may recommend further investigations, referral to a gynaecology specialist, medical treatment, ongoing monitoring, alternative investigations if another condition is considered more likely.

By providing valuable information earlier in the diagnostic pathway, the EndoSure Test can help women move more quickly towards the care and support they need.
